Manual flip-down counter
Updated: Aug 27, 2018

I thought I’d challenge myself to create a flip-down counter. It worked! It’s made up of paper, paper clips, and the housing is custom-made with the 3D printer. It initially looked like a daunting task to figure out how to put everything together, but it turned out easier than I had expected. It took a few tweaks to get there – how the numbers had to be spaced and adjusting the paper height for some numbers.
I guess the next step is to either link it up to a dc motor, or to another set of numbers. What I’m not looking forward to is the 4hr wait for the 3D printing. Maybe I’ll used wood instead.
